If you are among the many people that have moved to the outskirts of towns then you know how difficult it use to be to get the internet. Most places did not have it at all and if they did it was spotty at best. Thankfully there is a company that has come to the internet rescue of all of us on the outskirts. We can now get wild blue high speed internet in some of the most remote places. When we moved to our new home we moved way out. I am sure you know the places where if you turn off your car lights on the dirt road you see nothing but darkness and an occasional eyeball reflection just to keep you on your toes. The woods are full of everything except internet connection! When we finished moving in I had to go out of town and leave my wife and kids in our new home. We had only been there one day. We were hooked up to a barely available internet service so she felt a little less cut off. As I drove away she had no phone or car and was out in the middle of no where. The really bad part is my kids had never seen the house during the day light so it was a somewhat scary place for them and an uneasy place for my wife. We were the first to move out here. Naturally a storm came on them the very night I am gone. My kids found a lot of comfort in chatting back and forth with me via the internet. We made a game out of the sounds the storm was making. Then suddenly we lost connection and we could not get it back. With no telephone we were cut off and I spent the night worrying about them. Of course they were fine but that was an event I do not want to have happen again. Our neighborhood is fully functioning now but we will never forget that first day or two. We will also not go without reliable internet service and a phone!
