Some friends and I we talking about how expensive it is just to survive in this economy. We were talking about having just the basics. What brought this conversation was the fact that one of the guys had just bought a pair of glasses. We were shocked at the cost. I then read an article about a company called Zenni Optical. They offer eyeglasses at cheap prices. At first I thought they were another of those companies that have all of the outdated styles that no other company could sale so they discount them so people will buy them. The problem with those is they look like what they are. So after I read this article I realized that this company makes their own eyeglasses so that saves them huge costs and they also do not advertise which we all know saves them quite a bit. They get their business from satisfied customers spreading the word. Can you imagine how important customer satisfaction becomes in that type of advertising? They must have a great deal of confidence in their product. This is how all companies should operate. Put out a good product and let the customers do the rest. If you have a good product they will come but if not back to the drawing board. Company success would not be about who throws the most money at advertisers or who has the more clever campaign but rather who puts out the best product now that is a concept where the customer really wins!
